F-51D Mustang Buckeye Blitz VI

It was plane of Capt. J.W.Rogers 36th FBS 8th FBW in Korean conflict. I was actually amazed by the records this guy had in his career and decided to make his famous plane.

All models in my opinion look better on some kind of original surface than standing alone, so I made small diorama which is not to complicated to prepare and makes the model look alot better. It is 1:48 scale, aircraft F-51D is Tamyia model with ICM figures. Base is made out of forex board and painted with Model master paints (enamel). Figures are painted in vallejo acrylics. Few photos...
